Urgent Analysis at the following cost:

1 working day# – 95% of test cost added to the price
2 working days – 75% of test cost added to the price
4 working days – 50% of test cost added to the price

Terms and Conditions

Admin fee per Service Request (F002) = R110 excluding VAT.
• New clients utilizing the services of Precision Oil Laboratories are required to make full payment
before their samples are booked into the laboratory. Upon submission of the samples, clients may
request a quote and/or a proforma invoice, which will include the banking details of Precision Oil
Laboratories.
• For new clients, sample/s SHALL NOT be registered until proof of payment are provided to
projects@precisionoils.co.za. Analysis of the sample/s shall commence once proof of payment is
provided.
• The client will be responsible for sample safety, where relevant. The client must inform the
laboratory of any hazards associated with the sample submitted and provide a safety data sheet.
• Sample/s shall be booked into the laboratory when the sample/s are on laboratory premises AND
the Service request is complete and sent to projects@precisionoils.co.za.
• Only the email address(es) in the Client Details block shall receive the Certificate of Analysis.
When an email address, other than the email address(es) provided in the Client Details block
requests to receive the Certificate of Analysis, written permission shall be provided by the primary
receiver.
• Prices are reviewed yearly and may be adjusted due to inflation. Before completing a service
request, make sure that the service request relevant to the year is being completed, otherwise you
will be asked to complete the relevant service request before processing the samples.
• A service fee of 15% of the total expenses will be applied when samples are outsourced to
external laboratories.
• A confirmation letter is issued to the primary recipient(s) following the completion of the intake and
verification process. Once the confirmation letter has been issued, sample cancellations are not
permitted unless approved by the laboratory manager.
• Certificates of Analysis are issued within 8 working days, starting the day after sample reception.
Urgent analysis (4, 2, or 1 working day) is available at an additional cost. Samples received after
15:00 will be booked in the following day.
• Certificates with less than 50% SANAS accredited methods tested/performed SHALL be issued
WITHOUT the SANAS symbol.
• Official certificates SHALL NOT be altered, amended or reproduced without the express written
consent of Precision Oil Laboratories.
• Should a client request an amendment to a report for reasons unrelated to the laboratory, the
client SHALL be liable for a fee of R90 per amended report, exclusive of VAT.
• If the data contained herein is referenced in any document where its origin is not self-evident, it
must be expressly stated that the testing was conducted by Precision Oil Laboratories.
• If any reference is made in any document to the results contained in an official certificate, the
certificate itself must be disclosed and annexed thereto.
• When the laboratory is required by law or authorized by contractual arrangements to release
confidential information, the customer or individual concerned shall, unless prohibited by law, be
notified of the information provided.
