At Precision Oil Laboratories, our mission is to deliver comprehensive analytical and advisory services tailored to the fats and oils industry. We engage closely with our clients to identify the necessary analyses for their products, providing detailed Certificates of Analysis and insightful interpretations. Our goal is to empower clients with a deeper understanding of their products, enhancing their experience with our laboratory.
Precision Oil Laboratories was established in 2009 by Dr. Mathilda Mostert, who is also the owner of UPENYA Cosmetics. The laboratory was founded from her vision to serve the oil industry through high-quality compositional analyses, expert interpretation, and professional guidance.
Initially only basic analysis as well as consultancy in the oil industry was available. As the need arose for a reliable laboratory to support the consultancy and basic analysis, the laboratory gradually expanded the amount of analytical services on offer.
We have gained a great deal of experience in the fats and oils sector and consider ourselves as experts in the field. We have been SANAS (South African National Accreditation Service) accredited since February 2018 and take part in the Proficiency Testing Scheme of the American Oil Chemists’ Society as well as the German Society for Fat Science.
